Background
Overview
Avatars of the Titans Eonar and Aman'Thul, created to watch over Azeroth's very heart. They bear the memories of the Titans themselves, but their minds have become clouded by the darkness of the Void.
Abilities
- Bond of Storm and Fury — Reduces damage taken when Eonar and Aman'Thul are close together.
- Life Link — The health of the Avatars is linked.
Phase One
Eonar's Abilities
- Sunlight — Conjures beams of sunlight that encircle the caster from above. Anyone caught in them is stunned and takes heavy damage.
- Metamorphosis — Conjures up huge insects that burrow up from the ground and persue a random target, detonating if they come into contact with any target and slaying them instantly.
- Life Essence — Eonar sheds green orbs called Life Essence periodically, which will attempt to return to her and restore her health by a considerable amount. These can be intercepted, which will grant the gatherer a shield that heals them to 100% health if they take lethal damage.
- Thorns — After a short time, a cluster of thorns will erupt under a random target's location. Thorns deal heavy physical damage to anyone inside them and greatly reduce their movement speed. Thorns persist until they are destroyed with Slicing Winds.
- Life Bloom — Below 50% health, when Eonar sheds Life Essence she will also spawn a Life Bloom region under Amanthal that heals either Titan when they stands in it.
Aman'Thul's Abilities
- Zephyr — Aman'thul's normal attacks strike in a long line, dealing nature damage to anyone in the path.
- Hurricane — Surrounds Aman'thul with concentric bands of wind, damaging and knocking back anyone struck by them.
- Gale Barricade — Conjures a shield of air to either Aman'thul's left, right, or rear. Anyone attacking from that direction will trigger a Gale Burst, which causes all targets in a cone to receive a burst of nature damage and be knocked back a great distance.
- Slicing Winds — Conjures damaging winds around several random targets that inflict heavy nature damage on anyone nearby, and minor nature damage on the target themselves. Clears away thorns.
Phase Two
- Shield of the Elements — Prevents all damage to the Avatars.
Eonar's Abilities
- Wrath — Conjures spheres of destructive energy that drift overhead and grow in intensity. If they are not destroyed, they will burst and rain massive nature damage down on all targets.
- Rampant Growth — Throughout the chamber, Eonar's presence will cause trees to sprout and grow. With a little healing from heroes, they may grow to their full size. Full-grown trees will absorb Aman'thul's Lightning Strike.
- Lightning-Scorched Treant — A full-grown tree that is struck by Lightning Strike will become a Lightning-Scorched Treant, who attacks with powerful abilities.
- Ash Breath — Deals fire damage in a cone.
- Smouldering Branch — A heavy melee strike that must be absorbed by a strong target.
Aman'Thul's Abilities
- Tornado — Conjures large tornadoes that hurl anyone who walks through them into the air, and also grants them the Air Essence buff that slows fall speed and allows casting while moving.
- Lightning Strike — Casts a bolt of lightning down on a random target, slaying them and any nearby targets instantly. Can be avoided by hiding beneath a fully grown tree.
Strategy
In phase one, heroes must engage the two Titan Avatars and endure all of their abilities.
Periodically, phase two will begin as the Avatars shield themselves from all damage, and for a short time the heroes must survive the new abilities the Avatars employ. Heroes must use Aman'Thul's Tornado ability to leap into the air and absorb Eonar's Wrath spheres. Aman'Thul's Lightning Strike will instantly slay heroes with unavoidable damage, so healers must ensure that trees produced by Eonar are healed until they are fully-grown, so that heroes may shelter from Lightning Strike. The resulting Lightning-Scorch Treants will need to be tanked and destroyed as soon as possible.
