The Shadowseeker bloodline has served the Twilight's Hammer for generations. In modern times the line has produced two of the most fervent followers - Jedoga Shadowseeker, priestess of Yogg-Saron, and her sibling Magedo Shadowseeker, the merciless champion warrior of the death god. Called the Thousandth Maw, Magedo's blade has sent many a soul to feed his dark patron. He stands as the uncontested master of the bloodsports that take place at the Altar of the Old Gods.
Abilities
Shadow Beacons — Magedo draws power from one of the two Shadow Beacons in his chamber. Players can stand in the path of the dark energy to prevent Magedo being empowered, but they will take damage while doing so.
Empower — Draws strength from a Shadow Beacon, gradually increasing attack and spell power. Stacks to 99.
Curse of Yogg-Saron — Inflicts damage to the target and anyone nearby them. Damage dealt will restore Magedo's health.
Shadow Volley — Hurls shadow volleys at several random target locations, generating void zones upon striking.
Blessing of Yogg-Saron — Transforms Magedo into a Faceless One. Permanently draws power from all Shadow Beacons.
Shadow Bolt Barrage — Strikes all players for shadow damage.
Strategy
Heroic Mode Changes
- Magedo gains the Blessing of Yogg-Saron at 40% health instead of at 20% health.
- The are three Shadow Beacons present instead of two.
Achievement
- The Thousandth Maw - Do not allow Magedo Shadowseeker to receive any power from the Shadow Beacons before his transformation, then defeat him.
