Triangulated raid positions

A triangulation is an arrangement which allows one tank to be at the front at any given time, while the DPS, healers, and offtank are attacking from behind. The tank, the offtank, and a pile of DPS and healers are at 120 degree angles.

This arrangement is useful for boss fights where the tanks have to take turns, but should not be stacked (either because there is a cleave, or cone spray, or just because you want the second tank to not cause parries). This arrangement is less useful if the raid must remain mobile or dodge ground effects. It is also less useful if the boss must be moved/kited periodically.
