Faction

I haven't played the related Alliance quests, but I'm curious as to stating the Monkey King as actually being Alliance. Wowhead data states he's friendly to Alliance (as he would have to be for quest purposes) but doesn't indicate he's hostile to the Horde. I see that he works with Anduin and the Alliance adventurer, but that doesn't mean he's a signed-up member of the Alliance - the same is true of the majority of friendly NPCs throughout Pandaria, who will work with members of either side, but aren't considered to belong to either faction. I've done all the 5.1 Alliance quests. Judging by what I encountered while doing them, I find the claim that lore-wise the Monkey King is Alliance rather dubious at best. If anything, the Monkey King is a neutral party in terms of faction allegiance. -- Alayea (talk / contrib) 23:05, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
