One other thing, why is there no mention about not being able to res if the target has released his/her spirit? Wouldn't that be more important than references to the number 42? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Flyonthewall20097 (talk · contr) on 20:06, 19 September 2006‎.

You can res if they release, you just can't make them your target. So to res, you need to hit the spell, and use the targetting cursor that comes up and click the corpse. Soulstoned

Casting Rebirth on a player who has been soulstoned will consume the rebirth AND the soulstone. Is this true? Cowlinator (talk) 08:21, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

If someone has been soulstoned and they die, a popup box will appear asking if they want to release or rez using the soulstone. No matter what they choose the soulstone has already been used (upon death). So if you were to then use rebirth on them, that would be a waste of your rebirth entirely. Soulstone is the first choice over Ankh. Then if you Rebirth before the Shaman choses the Soultone Rez, the Soulstone is lost. If he dies again, the Shaman still have the Ankh option. Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk) 14:31, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Resurrection spells

I recommend moving and rephrasing slightly the following from the [Rebirth] page to the [Revive] page since these spells are functionally equivalent.:

Other classes have similar spells but usually with slightly different requirements and effects:
* Paladin: Redemption
* Priest: Resurrection
* Shaman: Ancestral Spirit
