Purple Lotus post-CATA

Is it confirmed that Purple Lotus still drops in Stranglethorn Vale post-CATA?

I co-incidentally started playing WoW just before the big CATA grand opening (after the 4.0.3 patch was active). I've now had 2 chars with Herbalism do quests & spend quite a bit of time in SV without finding a single plant of Purple Lotus. I've found lots of Kingsblood, Bruiseweed, and Stranglekelp, moderate amounts of Wild Steelbloom & a few plants of Goldthorn & maybe some others that I don't remember at the moment, but nary a petal or leaf of Purple Lotus. I asked in my guild and after reflection, nobody there could remember finding it in SV post-CATA either. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thom waas (talk · contr).
