Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't believe that symbol has ever been explicitly explained as being tied to a specific group or anything else in official lore. Weve seen it used heavily by the Scarlet Crusade but it's also been used in one other place (can't remember where). Anyways there is a huge discussion on a talk page somewhere (here) were it was suggested it may be a religious symbol (like a crucifix) representing the light, and simply used by the crusade. If true it could belong to a deceased paladin or warrior from the expedition to draenor.Warthok Talk Contribs 11:17, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
