Wintergrasp no-fly zone

Are you treated the same way as in Dalaran? I swear I flew there from Storm Peaks or Icecrown as my druid in flight form and got dismounted with no parachute buff. I'll have to test this again. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 3:49 PM PST 10 Mar 2009

Hmmm... thinking again, I may have got dismounted while I was leaving Wintergrasp which might cancel the buff or not allow it time to activate. All I know is I was AFK-flying (I know, that's stupid), saw myself get dismounted, and ended up dead on a mountainside before I could switch back into flight form. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 3:53 PM PST 10 Mar 2009

I know for sure I got booted while flying to Dalaran (not from Wintergasp) and died. But my computer always thrashes when I enter the city (fractional frames-per-second) so that may have been why. It was a tough landing on an obscure Violet Citadel balcony. -- Harveydrone 21:20, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

I have gotten confused too. Sometimes I parachute if I fly into Wintergrasp, but sometimes I will parachute and barely touch a piece of land that I cannot land on and it thinks I have landed and makes me fall. Rolandius (talk - contr) 01:55, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Actually there tends to be a bug that causes the buff (that causes the parachute buff) that appears when you're dismounted, not appear sometimes. Are the Azerothian capitals going to be no-fly zones? I've seen some Beta-videos where you can fly in the cities, but it might just be in the Beta for practical reasons. T igiarmpr C 02:31, October 28, 2010 (UTC)
