Talk:Light Illusion Dust

I am changing the level from 51-60 to 51-56. While leveling up my enchanter, I did some test buying armor and weapons at the auction house. The Armor and weapons from Level 57-60 all produced Arcane dust instead. They also gave a message of needing enchanting (225) to disenchant.

I did not test level 56 items and the correct level may be 51-55.

Actually, it seems to depend on where the item is from. Outlands items will give arcane dust, oldworld items will give illusion dust - all the way to level 60. --Djn 15:26, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

While I haven't done extensive testing myself, I'm going to have to say "not necessarily." Most of the blues in Zul'Gurub, for example, will disenchant into small prismatic shards, so obviously there was some degree of retroactive change in regards to pre-BC items disenchanting into BC mats. -- Dark T Zeratul 21:24, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
