Nice work, Kathucka Could you please state what kind of "test procedure" you were using for the determination of aggro?

I went to the elites in Zul'Farrak, hit them with two growls, and then shot them until I drew aggro off of the pets. (I used a low-rank Serpent Sting at the end to narrow it down.) Once done I divided my before/after threat by 2.60 (two growls times 1.30 ranged aggro coefficient). I used a debugging feature of KLH Threat Meter to determine my own threat.
I did this with pets at multiple levels and multiple attack power levels until I had a big pile of numbers. I also experimented with the hunter's attack power level and character level, which turn out to not matter.
I then built a brick wall and smashed my head against it (while looking at the numbers) until it crumbled. At that point, I had to make another wall for smashing. Before the third one fell apart, I finally figured out that it was a linear hockeystick formula. At that point, it was just a matter of doing a few dozen more experiments to find the inflection point for the different levels.
