Levels
The tamamble ghost wolves in Dustwallow would probably the lvl that Dustwallow is, 30-40. It says to help you tame the wolf, you can use a mystic skyfire diamond which you socket. You need to be 70 to socket, so what would be the point of having a 70 hunter tame a lvl 30-40 beast? Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 22:02, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Now does when it die, it dies forever, or can I rez it? Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 22:18, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Of course you can. That is how hunter pets work. Just remember to feed it.--SWM2448 22:19, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Then I'm off to Dustwallow, thanks Man :) And happy Thanksgiving Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 22:25, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Wait if they despawn after 7.5 seconds and w/ a skyfire diamond the time is reduced to 10 seconds, how can we tame it? Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 22:32, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Can an Alliance hunter tame it? Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 23:01, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
yes an allaince can tame it anyone can!--Igotanger 22:19, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- Not anymore. Blizzard took it out for being "Too Undead for the Hunter class." The bastards aparrently are against a Hunter having a ghost-like wolf, but they don't see anything wrong with having a zombie bear (Diseased Black Bear, the bears in Felwood) or a boar with no eyes (Plagued Swine)! What's next, the Ghost Saber's hotfixed out but the Undead-looking bears and boars are still tameable?! Felindre
Someone want to explain
Why such a stub of a comment can't be inserted into the main ghost wolf article?Baggins 22:20, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Technically the ability should be the one with the (ability) tag. Ghost wolves were a mob in Warcraft III, IIRC, and now an mob in game. Obviously not all ghost wolf mobs would be "hunter's pets".Baggins 23:24, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
If I am mistaken and ghost wolf is not a mob, then this page is greatly mislabled, and should be tied to whatever the mob name is.Baggins 23:26, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, it turns out that the page was completely misnamed, the mob name is "Grimtotem Spirit Guide".Baggins 00:53, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- Oops, didn't know. Thnx for the fix. --Scarab Lord Teardrop 20:07, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
