A Note and Question

Based on the RPG books it seems as if a Graven One shares many abilities with a necromancer, however a Graven One is more melee based. Meaning while a necromancer has more prowess in casting spells from a distance, a Graven One can hold her own in a fight. The Graven One can summon more than one undead, however unlike a necromancer's undead only the Graven One's special minion is permanent. My question however, is this: Do graven one gain power over death magic similar to a necromancer?
