"Infernal lord" is just a description of what his model looks like. It's a pit lord, merged with an infernal. Hence... infernal lord. – WarGodZajru (talk) 15:31, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

In my opinion it's just what the devs called the guy internally (bosses get their names later in the development process). But the term slipped into canon, either as a title or description, yes. -- MyMindWontQuiet 16:23, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
