Name?

The artical calls them "Giant wasps" but the draenei in Telredor who wants their wings for waterproofng calls them fireflys... Who is correct?--Sandwichman2448 19:30, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

There's a dwarf who calls them giant wasps. They're also known as 'stingers'. Simply calling them "fireflies" seems a bit of an understatement, given their size. I don't know if the RPG books give them a proper name. ---- Varghedin.jpg Varghedin  talk / contribs 19:53, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
The name of the model for the creature in the files is "Firefly". Sometimes these names aren't used past the file names, but it seems to be the most accurate to me. --Presea 21:35, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

Moved to the appropriate article. g0urra[T҂C] 19:24, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

This might need to be merged back with Wasp, as that is what the new beast family type is being called, which includes these fireflies. Well, we have Raptor/Outland Raptor on the Raptor page, so perhaps it can fit like that.--SWM2448 01:20, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
If there are other references to fireflies in other works to expand it, then the page can stay. However, if there isn't any firefly info we might as well merge it.Baggins (talk) 23:11, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Only references to calling them fireflies is through the quests A [10-30] Diaphanous Wings and H [10-30] There's No Explanation for Fashion as well as the item  [Captured Firefly]... and of course the models name... but model names are usually more descriptive than complete names. Both articles are rather small, I see no harm in having them on the same page with sections dedicated for both.
