The way Slaghammer's Notes: The New Leader is worded makes me think that Farthing was always loyal to the Twilight's Hammer and the bishop thing was always a facade.

While the Twilight Father left to serve Deathwing, the Shadow Deacon maintained his "role" as a bishop in Stormwind.

For that you need to go to his replacement Bishop Arthur. His dialog suggest that he knew about the twilight father's identity.Shammiesgun (talk) 17:31, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "For that you need to go to his replacement". I don't see anything in Arthur's unqiue dialogue implying that he knows about Benedictus' and Farthing's true loyalties. -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male.gif DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 17:35, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
Bishop Arthur doesn't, I was talking about Farthing. Well, it's more circumstantial evidence. He seemed cool as a cucumber when you tell him that Benedictus was the Twilight Father, but then he goes to investigate and becomes frustrated. Also, the Slaghammer's Notes can be used in a different perspective. While he was a bishop, you could use the sentence to say that he is still active in his role, even though he is now part of the Twilight's Hammer.
P.S He was an underling of Benedictus, and he didn't turn to their side until Deathwing arrived. As he says in his dying worlds, "I looked into the dragon's eyes and despaired". Shammiesgun (talk) 17:58, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
Fair enough, I guess. -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male.gif DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 18:02, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
I always just assumed that he was in on it from the start, or at least since cata. Seeing as how he counters the Benedictus "rumor" with one about Bolvar. PeterWind (talk) 19:36, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
