Anyone know why this spell sometimes just fails after a cast? I've never been able to go all that far with it because of that... It'll go off, seem to work, and then instantly snap me back to my body.... --Bobson 18:33, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

It's a channeled spell, did you move? were you attacked? How far are you trying to look? Cause bliz has or rather had changed a few things about how those spells work, they now are limited by how much the limit is. Where it didn't before, now it does. Using farther than you're allowed might be the reason it fails. I think the reason why Far Sight may be cancelled right after it's cast is because you may be using it to view an area you have not yet discovered on the map. I was at Theramore and I was trying to view some area in the bay between the Quagmire and Sentry Point and my Far Sight would immediately cancel. But once I discovered the area, I can then cast it anywhere in that bay without it cancelling. So I think in order to use Far Sight in a certain area, it has to be discovered on your map first. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shirokin (talk · contr).

actually it is because u pushed it too far (I know the answer came a little late) It is not unlimited range as many think and you can't see anywhere on the continent either... but you still can see on areas where you are not suposed to be, that include under development places, non used maps like the old iron forge and places out of the map Azahel (talk) 00:35, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
