Talk:Exorcism

I attempted to follow the latest Ability boilerplate as much as possible. The Tips and Talent improvements parts could use some review by someone more familiar with the class (I have a lvl 32 paladin alt). The training costs, as close as I was able to figure, all reflect the 10% Honored discount. This is my first major contribution, so any feedback is welcome. :-) Harveydrone 19:48, 10 May 2007 (EDT)

PS, the image name has a typo in it ("Excorcism").

I was wondering; Does this ability work on warlocks' pets? If it does it would be pretty good for Paladins vs. Warlocks in PVP.

The value 42% is prelimenary and taken from Spell damage article. Confirmed tested value is no less than 37% of your +Spell damage. --Dzerro 16:53, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

not pvp?

can anybody think of a valid reason why this wouldn't work in pvp? Kheetah (talk) 16:52, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Nodoze: After 3.1.0 I used it extensively on players and some on pets in the level 49 and 59 PVP brackets and it was extremly powerful.

After 3.1.1 it could no longer be used on Players in PVP (I tested). I am pretty sure it still works and can crit on Hunter's pets and auto-crits on Warlock's pets. I know that my 'Shockadins' can still take the pets down much more quickly than pre-3.1.0 but frankly I HolyShock and Exorcise them and never went back to check the combat logs to verify the crits... In general I have a high chance of spell-crit anyway so I would need to do more testing to verify the Warlock pet Auto-Crit (verses me just getting crits) but I have read elsewhere (I think on Thottbot) that others confirmed the same thing.
