Devils in Warcraft

Having devils in Warcraft is clearly a weak attempt to somehow merge an unecessary class of creatures into Warcraft from traditional D&D creatures. Why would Warcraft demons have the same name as demons and devils from Judeo-Christian mythology? At least in D&D there was an attempt to explain the difference between devils (lawful evil) and demons (chaotic evil). Just one of the many lame parts of the Warcraft RPG, IMHO. --Fandyllic 10:18 AM PDT 5 May 2006

One distiction I found was that demons seek to consume, whereas devils seek to control- in other words, demons just want to feast, but devils seek to be evil gods. --Ragestorm 19:48, 8 May 2006 (EDT)

Source

I think the source is Manual of Monsters. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 04:58, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Effects

When you removed Appendix III, it had a cascade effect. Demodands, demons, devils, etc. are now not races. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 13:44, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
