In which order are block and armor applied? Assuming a hit for raw 10000, 60% armor and a shield block value of 2000. Would I receive (40% * 10000) - 2000 = 2000 damage or (10000 - 2000) * 40% = 3200 (in case that a block occures)? Tneshi (talk) 00:24, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

I will try to find out from the RatingBuster or TankPoints calculations, but I believe both work off the same base attack - they're not additive like you are suggesting. So for the raw 10,000, 2,000 is blocked and 6,000 was mitigated from armor, making the hit 2,000 (10,000 - 2,000 - 6,000). -Howbizr (talk) 19:25, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
