After the 3 drakes, this guy is a BIG step upward in learning difficulty. Good luck though, he's a load of fun. CJ 05:04, 25 September 2006 (EDT)

Did they change the Chromaggus fight? I don't think the part about 5 time lapses reducing aggro to 0 is true anymore. If so, our MT would lose aggro after 5 time lapses, but he never does, only during the time lapse. Tonje 05:19, 4 October 2006 (CET)

We were learning Chromaggus earlier this week and this seems to be more true. Our MT didn't lost aggro outside of Time Lapses and his own dead. When I did Chromaggus in the past I was one of the off-tank healers and I definatly remember the Off-tank keeping the aggro after a certain amount of Time Lapses. Sanderu 05:26, 31 October 2006 (EST)
Loot: 2x shoulders 2x random static : 4 items total, quite nice compared to the drakes before him.
I wonder if the brood afflictions, or their effects (red) can be resisted, or partially resisted.. CJ 05:19, 4 October 2006 (EDT)
Tested, Timelapse can be resisted by Arcane resistance.. the MT should try to have a bit of arcane resist, everyone else should probably get their arcane res as low as possible (or you're dead)
Has anyone tested if the brood afflictions can be resisted with enough spell resistance? the fight is chaotic, and dispelling is almost instant sometimes,, but it'd still be interesting to know, as you could drink spell resistance potions to make the job of the decursing people a LOT easier. I cannot provide much more information on this than simply saying that I did not notice (or paid attention to it) any resists exept for the breaths theirselves. The afflications are related to the different schools of magic if you look at the spells on Thottbot: Link. Best way to test I guess is keeping an eye on your combat log. I resisted a number of the afflictions, but it's hard to really pinpoint it. CJ 07:15, 31 October 2006 (EST)
