Doomguards

Are they vulnerable to any kind of CC, such as banish or enslave? Stillfresh 19:54, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

About the doomspell, is there any way u can resist it or are u doomed to die as soon as u get it.

Tank this guy next to Thrall

In our last kill, our best DD was actually Thrall with 684k damage to Azgalor. Next was one of our hunters with 528k, then the Grunts with 434k, then one of our mages with 353k. In total, the NPCs did 1.4M damage, which is more than one third of the total damage to the boss. It's a very big help. Use it.

The MT should, however, be aware that NPCs are getting parried (they are probably not wearing a lot of expertise), and should try to make most of them attack from the back by turning the boss.

Edit: I've seen this strategy was already on the page (see the edits from 8 February 2008 "Significant strategy changes, since Thrall is no longer in danger of dying to Rain of Fire." in the history), but has been replaced by Batox on 1 May 2008. Why? I apologize for just editing it out/changing it, as I did not know about that. Apparently, there are different strategies for the boss, so we should try to incorporate them all into the article. Let's try to find an agreement here on the discussion page. I could upload a WWS parse of the kill I was talking about, so we could compare strategies.
