Talk:Augment

This article states: "An augment is a special enchant-granting item that does not require the services of an enchanter to apply." and "Inscriptions can only be placed on items you own (they cannot be applied through the Trade window), and will soulbind any items that are not already soulbound if applied."

My PC has obtained an "Inscription of the Blade" from the Scryer Inscriptionist in the Scryer Bank (Sattrath City).

However, when my PC attempts to apply that "Inscription" to the armor that is equipped in the Shoulder slot, error messages both spoken and written are the response -- to the effect that he cannot do that and that he is not capable of doing that. So at this point, the inscription is useless (albeit, it can be sold to a vendor for a "full refund", whatever that means).

How can my PC apply the inscription to the shoulder-slot armor with which he is equipped??
