Talk:Atiesh (demon)

I can't help wandering if there's lore concerning this. I just saw the video they released (which by the way you can download by torrent here: http://fc.idcomm.com/Risen-Kameril-Atiesh.avi.torrent). And we can all see it's a demon hunter's model. But... Hand of Sargeras ? In my opinion this is very very intriguing. Specially the fact that Atiesh and Andonisus appear in Stratholme (which is Arthas' territory). My Wow account is frozen so i can't post in the official forums, but someone here could post a question there to see what is this all about. Personally, i think it's awesome. This kind of scripted stuff is really cool. Specially the "temporary" drop of the sword. --Pulyx 11:26, 13 September 2006 (EDT)

Seems logical stuff to me, as Sargeras controlled Medivh from within, and it "leaked" into his staff, it seems. For the quest, you need to get the evil out of the staff with is done by killing this creature. It represents the evil. Tinker

Well, there's already a bunch of lore regarding Atiesh in game that you can glean from various NPCs. When more people do this quest perhaps we'll see more screens regarding the completion of the staff and we'll see why Anachronos sent them specifically to Stratholme to cleanse the staff. Atiesh doesn't come from Stratholme, but the staff is built from the 40 splinters in Naxxramas, the head off Kel'thuzad, and the base off C'thun. --Jaxdahl 13:03, 13 September 2006 (EDT)

True. I know atiesh doesn't come from stratholme (it probably comes from dalaran), but now that i think of it, it seems like the final expansion (speculation mode/on) is going to be either a final colossal battle against Sargeras or Arthas. Because they are the strongest forces on the evil side. I came to notice that everytime Brann Bronzebeard is somewhere different, something different and critical is going to happen to the story. He was seen in Ahn Qiraj, Naxxramas, Blackwing Lair and so on. Seems like these little tidbits of information about sargeras are going to lead us somewhere. I just hope if we do indeed battle him, it'll be something to remember. --Pulyx 17:47, 13 September 2006 (EDT)

Can we have more information about this boss fight? After all, it's part of an important questline. -- Durbathuluk 20 May 2007, 1018 (GMT)

Unfortunately, with Naxxramas being obsolete since the expansion, there will be very few people acquiring Atiesh in the future, and very people have it to begin with. As such, it will be quite difficult to get more information on this encounter. --Adonzo 23:56, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
