Same. In Warcraft III the Archmage mount was a horse. This is probably one of those MoM Appenix III things. Saimdusan

Archmage/Archmagi

Just noting that througout the RPG books, Archmages appears to be standard term for class as a whole, although Archmagi is tossed around as a more formal term in many cases throughout the warcraft series, often times when referring only to the group within the Kirin Tor, and not those outside of it.Baggins 07:29, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

Does anyone know if this is from an actual source? I cannot find this "Archmagi can come from any arcane caster class as long as they have a sufficient level of arcana and spellcraft knowledge. They must have the ability to cast arcane spells and spells from at least five of the schools of magic at a certain level of proficiency. They must also spell focus in two schools of magic. Archmagi of the Kirin Tor forbid warlocks and necromancers from their ranks." in the given citation, and the user who added it also told me that it is wrong. Speculation about WoW and Magisters

Since when we know that magisters have the same power of an archmage? We never heard a such thing. And in WoW an archmage is an archmage lorewise too.
