Skinnable?

I went up to both The Crystal Spine and Ogr'ila and killed a half dozen flayers in each spot. None of them were skinnable. That character is level 70 and has 375 Skinning. How are other people managing to skin these? There are plenty of Shard-Hide boars in both locations to skin. Why would Blizz add a skinnable humanoid to the area? Is this some database pollution from a private server? Part of patch 2.4.2?

WOWHead shows these as skinnable with the same drop table as on this page. Allakhazam lists Fel Scales, Crystal-Infused Leather, and Knothide on the drop table, which you can usually only get from skinning. Thottbot only lists Knothide Scraps and Knothide Leather, so maybe that's just a very rare drop.
