This pet was available for purchase from the limited-time Pet Pack for Ukraine bundle through the Battle.net Shop or In-Game Store, supporting the BlueCheck Ukraine charity. It became available on 25 July 2023, alongside Flurky, and was available until 29 April 2023.[1] This pet will not return to the shop in the future.

Trivia
- Sunny's blue and yellow color scheme matches the colors of the Ukrainian flag.[1]
- Sunny will occasionally chase her own tail or fall asleep as part of her idle animations.[1]
- The pet journal entry is a reference to the film All Dogs Go to Heaven, with Bastion being equivalent to heaven while Revendreth is to hell. The entry is consistent with the one for the Lucy pet, which likewise states that all cat souls are sent to Revendreth. However, while many cats are seen in Revendreth in-game, no dogs or dog-like creatures are seen in Bastion.
