• Use: Increases the item level of a Blacksmithing weapon or shield by 15, up to a maximum of 675.
• Requires Level 90

Steelforged Essence is crafted with Blacksmithing (1); taught by  [Plans: Steelforged Essence].

Materials required:

	70x [Truesteel Ingot]			15x [Sorcerous Earth]
	15x [Savage Blood]

Notes

Any Steelforged Essence crafted prior to patch 6.2.0 was converted to  [Unstable Steelforged Essence].

Patch changes

• Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Removed and deprecated.
  
• Patch 6.2.0 (2015-06-23):
  • Rank consolidation: Now upgrades a rank 1 blacksmithing item to rank 2, a rank 2 item to rank 3, or a rank 3 item to rank 4.
  • Reduced amount of Truesteel Ingot and Sorcerous Earth required, down from 150 and 30 respectively.
    
• Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Added.
