Soulfeast the Devourer, also known as the Skeletal Artifact, is an ancient artifact that entraps the souls of those who die violently, forcing them to relive the last moments of their lives for eternity. It raised the remains of orcs who had died in battle between the Blackrock, Stormreaver and Twilight's Hammer clans on the Broken Isles.

These restless ghosts haunted Drak'thul, one of the last surviving members of the Stormreaver clan. They had chased him day and night for nearly twenty years. Drak'thul asked Maiev Shadowsong to silence the ghosts of his betrayed comrades in exchange for his story about himself. Maiev found and destroyed three summoning pits from which the ghosts spawned. The ghosts were every bit as brutal and bloodthirsty as they had been in life. Within one of the pits lay Soulfeast the Devourer, the skeletal artifact that first raised the orc remains. Maiev brought the artifact to Drak'thul to show him that the curse had ended and he told her his story.[1]
