Silithid Goo is contained in Hive'Ashi Pod in Silithus, this item can be thrown away immediately after looting to save bag space. It has no use, and is only to throw you off track of the real objective for the Hive in the Tower quest (the loot off of one of the Hive'Ashi Ambushers).
As a quest objective
This item is NOT an objective of 
[57] Hive in the Tower; however it will be encountered.
