Zul'Aman

I noticed someone added a ZA column in the 'Karazhan' table. I can see valid reasons for adding it to that table, but we might also want to make it separate. For instance, a lot of those guilds don't exist anymore, and where do we put new guilds that have downed ZA content? Above old guilds that killed Moroes (and only Moroes) before they did? Or do we place them at the bottom of the table, since they're late comers. Open to discussion.

Also, I fixed a number of bugs in that table. Everyone had it on Farm, except for some people that had "W" in that column, which is actually an Kara Opera boss. So I fixed the "W", removed the "Farm", and updated the progression based on www.wowjutsu.com and our WoW server forums. For instance, I know Eternals cleared it based on their WoW forums post, but I'm not sure on the other guilds -- so I had to rely on wowjutsu. Over the next couple of weeks I expect it to be updated quick a bit.

If the guilds don't exist anymore, than they should be removed completely. There's no reason to archive their existence in the progression if they don't stick around to stay alive. As for where, give the guilds another week, and then we can decide on who gets to be at the top of the kara lists with regard to ZA. My personal opinion is that people fill in where they are, and if the guilds don't list themselves, those that have bosses down in ZA get moved up.
As for the "Farm", someone changed the order template, which had the Servant Quarters where Zul'Aman is now, which is why most guilds had "farm" there. Not a big issue to drop that, as Kara should be (or should have been) at the pug point for a while now.
And for the future, could you use the little plus at the top instead of adding in at the top? :) --Sky (talk | con | wh) 04:04, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Ahh, thanks for pointing that out. I don't think I even noticed it. I take it that automatically adds a new topic to the bottom of the page? -- Adonran 18:16, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Yup. --Sky (talk | con | wh) 01:09, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Horde Guilds updated

So far as I can tell, all the Horde guilds are updated. I'll go through the Alliance guilds soon.--Sky (t · c · w) 03:03, 8 April 2007 (EDT)

Delirium

I'd just like it known that Delirium (that was Ritual) has cleared ALL of Karazhan except Illhoof as of April. 8th/07. Please add and edit.

Golden Reign has downed Mag?

I noticed Golden Reign has Mag on Farm.

According to www.wowjutsu.com, they haven't downed him. They do have one guy Navok with one piece of gear, but that's it. I can only assume it was a transfer. As far as the people I've talked to in the game, they all believe that Golden Reign has not yet downed Mag. Confirmed?

Btw, if a guild has just downed a boss once, what do we list as the status? "Farm", or something else like "Downed". Or maybe just list the boss name?

Adonran 04:58, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Just the boss name, if you please. --Sky (t · c · w) 04:59, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Done -- Adonran 05:07, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

ZA Progress

Why was Instincts ZA Progress removed? Was the second guild to clear the instance after eternals. Someone removed our status and dropped us down the list.

I think I did that. I wasn't sure, by how your template was done, if you had actually cleared the instance. (for the future, make sure to sign talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) --Sky (talk | con | wh) 23:04, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Updating the page

I will be taking the time to go through and purge/update this page completely by April 10, 2008. Maintaining the same format but collecting the guild information from the WoW Forum / Guild Webpages. I will also be updating the page as much as possible when it needs to be.

I am also trying to format a ranking system for some confusing issues such as when guilds have downed bosses like Winterchill, but only a few in SSC/TK; and others have downed more in SSC/TK but not Hyjal or BT.

The Pre TBC raid section will be updated to show only guilds still active today to match the rest of the page.

First, sign your comments using four tildes: ~~~~. Glad to have another updater.
Second, the ranking I've been taking is that when guilds have the same number of boss kills, the people who have downed more bosses in the lower instances get priority. I'm also hesitant on what to do about guilds which have less kills, but who have obviously downed harder objectives or ones run not so often now, such as Mag, Kael, and Vashj. What we've got set up at this point is fine, I think, since any guild which gets to BT / SP is going to have all the others on farm, and that's what matters, until the point where people stop running BC instances in favor of Wrath instances.
Third, I've been doing that, but not so assiduously as the top. Feel free to wreak havoc on the guilds who have died. --Sky (t · c · w) 04:31, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
