Chris Kaleiki (known as Phalanx on the official forums) is a former[1] a Blizzard employee and Game Designer for World of Warcraft.[2] Kaleiki worked on Ashran, alongside Brian Holinka.[3] Kaleiki also works on PvP and class design,[4] having notably worked on PvP talents and the design of the monk.[5][3]

- Kaleiki was involved in creating "99%" of the flavor text for the race-specific Ashran player-dropped items.[6]
- The NPCs Foreman Kaleiki and Chris Kaleiki, the item
[Kaleiki's Notes] and the weapon 
[Kaleiki's Lost Training Staff] are named after him. - The Chris Kaleiki NPC is hanging out with the Brian Holinka NPC and their pets in Ashran, a battleground that the two designers helped design.
