Perception is a human racial ability that temporarily increases stealth detection by 50 points, equivalent to 10 levels.

Patch changes

Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Removed.
Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Now a passive that increases stealth detection by 5 points, equivalent to 1 level.
Patch 1.8.0 (2005-10-10): Perception is now usable while stealthed.
Patch 1.4.0 (2005-04-19): Increased detection bonus.
