Oozing Ingredient: Viscous Oil is an ingredient for the Pool of Mixed Monstrosities at the House of Plagues in Maldraxxus. It drops from the Burning Extracts and Colossal Plasmas in the area.
Viscous Oil is required for summoning the Pulsing Leech, Violet Mistake, and Burnblister from the Pool of Mixed Monstrosities.
Related buff
Interacting with this object will apply the following buff:
Carrying Viscous Oil — Your speed is limited. Return the Viscous Oil to a mixing pool.
The buff can be removed by throwing the oil into the Pool of Mixed Monstrosities or the Pool of Potions, or simply by right-clicking it.
Notes
- Each pile of Viscous Oil remains for about 1 minute and can be interacted with multiple times, though you'll need to make multiple trips. Kiting an enemy toward the Pool of Mixed Monstrosities before killing it can allow you to deliver much more oil before the object despawns.
