Named mob

"Named mob" refers to a unique mob that has an individual name (e.g., Vagash, Ol' Sooty, etc.) rather than the generic name for mobs of that type (e.g., Cave Yeti or Black Bear).

Additional notes

• Most, if not all, hostile non-rare named creatures are involved with quests. An example is a mob named Sin'Dall, the final target of the Tiger Mastery chain of quests in Stranglethorn Vale.
• Named creatures that are rare mobs usually drop better loot than non-named creatures of the same level.
• Most named mobs are harder than "normal mobs", but easier than elite mobs.
