A Dwarven Corpse, the corpse of Mori Hildelve, can be found just east of the road to South Gate Pass, at the far eastern end of Dun Morogh. He was an Ironforge Siege Brigade pilot. Pilot Hammerfoot described him as being "tough as nails" and "a good friend."

Background

At some point, Pilot Stonegear told Hildelve and his friend Pilot Hammerfoot about chiron ore, a rare ore used to make high-grade blasting powder. Hildelve and Hammerfoot set out from Steelgrill's Depot to find the ore in the hills of eastern Dun Morogh. Unfortunately, Hildelve's tank broke down after he drove it up a steep hill. Convinced that he could find the ore, he told Hammerfoot to stay with their tanks and continued the search on foot.

After two days of searching alone, Hildelve wondered if Pilot Stonegear had pulled a prank on him—and, worse, he began to hear a growl echoing throughout the canyons. For two and a half days the growling followed him. At midday on his fifth day in the hills, as he planned to make his way back to Hammerfoot, a huge bear charged him and chewed up his leg, then ran off. The bear waited nearby as he bled out on the snow. In his final hours, Hildelve dubbed it Mangeclaw for the terrible stench of its mangy fur, and requested that whoever found his journal kill it and bring its paw to Pilot Hammerfoot as proof of his fate.
