Mike Murphy is a database engineer at Blizzard Entertainment. He helps tune, upgrade, and safeguard the databases powering Blizzard's games.[1]
He worked as a tech support for desktop printers while attending school until he found out that Blizzard was hiring for technical support reps.

- He celebrated his 20 years of service in 2017 which means he has been with Blizzard since 1997.
- His most memorable Blizzard moment so far is him helping to unload the first physical copies of StarCraft off of the delivery truck into their internal sales department.
- He worked on vanilla World of Warcraft as a QA Lead and getting to provide feedback on aspects of the game, sometimes before anyone else.
- His favorite Blizzard game is all the games in the Diablo series and his favorite non-Blizzard game is Wizardry.
