Tips and tactics

The idea behind this mastery is that Holy paladins are battle healers, saving lives in the thick of the fighting. As such, you will need to be in or close to melee range of other players in order for your heals to benefit from Lightbringer.
All healers were treated as ranged casters prior to Legion, but Holy paladins are now the exception to this rule. Newcomer and old-timer alike will have to be mindful of melee-related mechanics in group encounters.
