The Marines were terran humans in space suits who fought against Space Fel Orcs in a bonus clip seen after the player beat Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos on the hardest difficulty level. This unit is taken from Starcraft.
Variations of this unit have appeared as an easter egg inside the Warcraft universe:
- The Tauren Marine was presented as an April Fools joke.
- In World of Warcraft, Grunty, the Murloc marine, is a player companion pet who will attack any zergling pet it meets.
Trivia
- They also appeared during the Bomber Command scenario map.
