These ancient stone tablets are endlessly fascinating. How fortunate that we found them here at the Reach!
We have heard rumors of these "sending stones" before. A message scribed in one could be sent to another, even across great distances.
Could they truly have been left by Neltharion himself? Were they instruments of his will?
Were they used before or after he succumbed to the influence of the Old Gods?
What secrets might they hold? Could the messages they held remain intact after all this time?
The mind reels with all these questions and more!
One cannot help but wonder, though... Was someone supposed to destroy these sending stones after they were used?
It does seem careless to leave them to be discovered.
If we can decipher the messages in the stones, they could grant insight into the workings of Neltharion's mind.
And perhaps reveal something of the origins of the dracthyr.
