Lightning Ascent

The Lightning Ascent is a stairway leading up from the Celestial Enclave to the Pinnacle of Storms in the Throne of Thunder. The walls are lined with an electrical defense system which activates soon after intruders begin the climb. A few doorways are found here, like in many parts of the fortress, which lead to unknown locations.

There is a chance for a rare spawn and weekly quest to appear at the entrance of the stairway, [35] Zao'cho the Wicked.
