Today, I noted two articles that are simply redirects to Wikipedia articles. The articles in question are "Internet" and "EverQuest". I bring them up because they show a new issue with the Double Redirect list, specifically that the list seems to ignore the wikipedia namespace in the redirection link, and thus treats these pages as circular links. Because I have not seen EverQuest listed here before, and it was last edited in 2006, I think this might be a new issue. --Wige (T - C) 16:21, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

"Everquest" was a link like that. I think "Machinima" was too, but I do not see it in the history.--SWM2448 17:52, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

As they are external links, they are not followed through and are sometimes referred to as "soft redirects". Kirkburn  talk  contr 12:11, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

That too. It makes sense - the pages linking to the redirects should be going directly to Wikipedia if needed anyway. Kirkburn  talk  contr 12:35, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
