The reason for this template is for its potential use on articles where information is taken from more than one source of lore, to avoid stacking too many single source templates, or the arbritrary placement of single source templates (where material comes from more than one source). I'm also looking for a good icon, that represents "lore" in general.

An additional idea may be to rewrite each of the single source templates to make them, state something to affect of, "The topic of this article first originated in "blank" source of lore". Blank representing the first media that it appeared in, be it Warcraft I, Warcraft II, RPG, comics & manga, or WoW, etc. This way they would only be used to point out where something first appeared, rather than more misleading format currently used (which makes the template seem like its put onto something that only appears in a single source).Baggins 07:44, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm seriously starting to doubt the use of this template - if sections of the article are from a specific source, then that's what the inline templates are for ({{WC3-section}}, {{RPG-section}} etc). The {{RPG}} template and others should be used if that's the only source of the article - if there's other sources then they should be cited in the article. This template shouldn't have to be used in that sense. g0urra[T҂C] 11:00, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Commenting on this older post: I am starting to see this appear on any page with more than one source. Stacking the headers and section templates found in Category:Article type templates does not cause too much clutter. Their only use should be for lore discrepancies and differences between sources, and/or things that only happen in one source. I do not think they are for advertising appearances, which is what seems to be happening. If lore is mixed from several sources, I would just add the default "nothing" to the top of the article and expect people to read the citations without the warning.--SWM2448 20:04, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Continuing from [[Template talk:Multisource]], what is {{Multisource}} for?--SWM2448 23:54, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

I say remove it from all pages and delete it, especially now since {{RPG}} is being removed. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 00:38, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Ok, Is there a bot that can do that? Anyone else have a position on this?--SWM2448 23:41, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

I don't really see any usefullness to this template, as Gourra said it would be better to use the sections templates. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 01:02, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Ok, so delete then?--SWM2448 23:48, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
I would like confirmation for this, so that I can start deleting this templates when I edit an article with it. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 19:40, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Confirmation granted, begin the system purge process... Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 20:33, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
