Good evening!

This is a quick note that we plan to enable a new version of the Monaco skin on WoWWiki today, codenamed "Lean Monaco". As the name suggests, we've been working to make the Monaco much more efficient, and today sees the fruits of those efforts on WoWWiki.

Essentially end users should notice little difference, except faster pageloads. However, under the hood, one of the big changes is that the underlying JS framework for Wikia is changing from YUI to JQuery - you can read more about that on w:Forum:Wikia is changing javascript frameworks.

This code is now live across all Wikia. Please let me know if you see any issues, but from my experience, WoWWiki is much quicker so far :) Kirkburn  talk  contr 12:03, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
