Forum:Invalid tag extension name: onlyinclude
(This topic is archived. Please do not edit this page!)
I seem to be having a problem with the <onlyinclude> </onlyinclude>
tags in the article [The Lady's Necklace]. After I originally edited the page, I saw an error message at the top (Invalid tag extension name: onlyinclude) instead of the item tooltip, yet I made no edits up there. Resaving (dummy edits) and browser refreshes do nothing, and I can find no problems with the syntax. None of the templates used seem to have any extra <onlyinclude> </onlyinclude>
tags that could be mucking things up, either.
Also, it seems to work OK in the sandbox.
In case it matters, I'm using Firefox 3.5.2 on Windows XP Pro SP2.

- I believe this may be a caching issue with the templates/transclusions in use - null edits/purges on the templates themselves may help deal with it. Kirkburn talk contr 17:42, September 1, 2009 (UTC)
- I think it is on Wikia's end. If you edit the page and preview it then everything is fine but when you save it (leave the preview mode) it goes back to showing the error message. -- (M o r p h | C | T ) 17:53, September 1, 2009 (UTC)
- The page appears to have re-solved its problem. Now it looks like it is supposed with no more error. -- (M o r p h | C | T ) 18:10, September 1, 2009 (UTC)
Note, this also came up on Central Wikia, at w:Forum:Invalid tag extension name: noinclude. Kirkburn talk contr 20:32, September 1, 2009 (UTC)
- I noticed that error on Portal:Main/User News too when i edited it last. I left it alone cos i know the code istself is fine and the error doesn't show up on the front page. Was still there, so i just moved it to a new line as suggested. No idea why it's there anyway. -- Zeal (T/C) 06:45, September 2, 2009 (UTC)
Still a problem
After updating [Black Tuxedo Pants] and [White Tuxedo Shirt] I am getting the same error on both pages in Firefox and IE. The pages tooltips work fine from other pages, and they both look right in preview, but when saved there is the error. Not sure what to do since the error is apparently not on the pages themselves. —MJBurrage(T•C) 15:13, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
