This is a list of silly templates that should probably go ahead and be removed from user pages and deleted as their original intent is gone.

- What was the original intent? It seems kinda like the statement expressed remains true - and as yet unfulfilled, until Cataclysm comes out. Maybe you should poll the folks that have those user templates on their pages, before (effectively) changing those pages? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 00:42, December 5, 2009 (UTC)
- Well the original intent was to convey the wants of the user... As they are being added the wanting of it no longer applies. They have already been altered due to this fact (to show what they currently are). So I see no point to even keeping them at this point... and the same would apply to future want templates to occur. - I would suggest waiting until the event finally comes to pass in game. For example, if there was a "Dance Studio" silly template, and it was changed to coming true, well the long answer is yes, it is, Blizzard has confirmed they are working on it. The reality is "not soon" or even an estimated date. Even when the event is functional in game, cleanup of existing templates can be regarded as a low priority item as the templates are non-critical fluff data.
