Forum:Fel Kodos in Outland?

After replaying the Frozen Throne level, "Lord of Outland," I noticed that Magtheridon's Fel Orc forces were using the Fel Kodos from "The Blood of Mannoroth" level of the Reign of Chaos Orc campaign. Problem is, the Fel Orcs couldn't have Kodo Beasts, which are from Kalimdor... right? --Signoftheend (talk) 07:09, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

- Same as Blackrock orcs from Alterac using jungle troll headhunters and other things in the same line. It's mostly because of the gameplay. The best is to interpret them as other type of beast, like clefthooves, or even ignore them as if they hadn't appeared, which works better.
- My way of solving this is that if hey aren't special enough, like having lines or being mentioned, that means their aspect isn't relevant, so they aren't canonical at all. Fortunately, regarding this case, they just appears as random mobs and enemies around the maps. There's no one of them having relevant roles. I just consider we fought against the fel orcs, a group of different units.
- After all, the non-appearance of different units doesn't mean they weren't there lore-wise. I'd leave this in the same field as the blackrock headhunters, Illidan's panda-glaives and the night elf hydralisk, until we get some logical interpretation for them.--Lon-ami (talk) 21:59, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
- The explanation that seems to make the most sense is that the kodos fleshed out the Fel Orc techtree, which is thin enough as it is. I was just curious as to if someone could explain it, lore-wise. --Signoftheend (talk) 05:19, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

- Speaking of Forests Trolls, does anyone else wonder what happened to the them? Since some of them were supposed to be in Outland. Sairez (talk) 19:50, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
