Forum:Creating a project
I'm working on 2 "special" articles:
Basically, they're lists of locations/characters that don't appear at World of Warcraft.
I already made stuff like this in my personal space as lists to help me watch over specific articles. This works, more or less, as a merge of all that personal research.
Now I'm wondering if I should try to make it a project. It has a big scope, probably going to grow in the future, and I would like to have a neuralgic place to discuss about these 2 and all the similar articles that could appear eventually.
Right now, the stuff I've at mind is:
- Categorize the lore characters into a proper category, or clean the existing one.
- Finish up categorizing the lore locations (most of RPG ones are missing).
- Take a decision on how to represent locations/characters that appear, but as a different state (Fields of Farahlon is Netherstorm, but they had notable differences worth to mention).
I could bring it further, and make it cover other articles I've been monitoring like novels, manga and comics, including all their content, that is, novel/manga/comic articles and their character articles.
Well, opinions? should I try to make this a project, or is it too small? or maybe I should make it a personal project?--Lon-ami (talk) 13:19, September 11, 2010 (UTC)
- While it seems useful, I ... 1) don't know how big it is, and 2) don't experience that outside content as a general rule. I would be unable to assist. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 18:11, September 14, 2010 (UTC)
