So what do you think we'll do in the new Cataclysm CoT wing? Given Blizzard's history with the instance (no pun intended), they seem to like to try to make the instances relate in someway to the overall "theme" of the Expansion, so probably something to do with Deathwing. I'd hazard a guess that it would involve Vereesa, Rhonin and Broxigar's time travels back in time, as chronicled in the War of the Ancients Trilogy and/or and Day & Night of the Dragon, as all novels involve Deathwing to varying degrees. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Deepred (talk · contr).

Hrm...I think it'd be awesome to do Deathwing's Betrayal from the War of the Ancients trilogy. Something along the lines of keeping the Infinite Dragonflight from breaking the Dragon Soul prematurely, or injuring Deathwing or some such. --Herabec (talk) 19:46, March 27, 2010 (UTC)

I really hope it's not based on anything from Knaak's books, but given the lore for this expansion it may be a long shot to hope for that. Who knows, maybe it'll be one where you have to stop Knaak from writing D/NotD. Sarvam (talk) 21:07, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

I would love it to be about raiding Azshara's palace. Yeah, the War of the Ancients; but with more fidelity to the original version. We would see the fight between Cenarius and Mannoroth that was ignored by Knaak, and the fight between Illidan and Azzinoth that was ignored by Knaak, and we could meet Deathwing trying to recover the Demon Soul.

I think it's the best way to link Deathwing, the Well of Eternity and Azshara, 3 relevant elements of this expansion.

Or we could, just to improve stuff, see a fight between Deathwing and the elementals at the Elemental Plane (I always thought Deathwing was the jailer of the realm, and that his relationship to it was pretty similar to that of Ysera and her Emerald Dream).--Lon-ami (talk) 14:56, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Azshara really isn't that major of a player in this X-Pack, it's mostly Deathwing. From what I've read, it sounds like she'll have some cameos, but that's about it. Tanooki1432 (talk) 16:35, May 16, 2010 (UTC)
