Well, I am new editing WoWpedia. However, I've frequently used Wowpedia and its predecessor, WoWiki for a good year or two.

Well I wanted to start editing some pages and help add to the new content for Cataclysm. It's alot easier said then done. I just finished my first page, on an NPC in Silvermoon called Linore Erona.

The problem is, I don't under how to put in images in the NPC box, or thumbnail images throughout the article.

I tried adding a link with a photobuck URL, then I uploaded the image to WoWpedia, and tried linking it from there in the format. it's not working, it just ends up being broken. I went to the Help section, and tried that, but it doesn't 'explain how to put it in'. Then I went to an already existing artcle and tried copying the format from there to use in the one I creating. No cigar, mate.

So... is there someone who can give a detailed step-by-step way to put in an image for the NPC Box and images throughout the article? Is there a special way to type the URL? Is there place I am not seeing that I need to copy from WoWpedia to put into the field?

Also, at this time, if you go to the Article, you can see my blunder and perhaps, understand me a bit clearer.

Please and Thank You!

For the NPC image go here - this explains how to use the template, for example to add the image of Halis Dawnstrider (found at http://www.wowpedia.org/File:Halis_Dawnstrider.jpg} you don't add the entire URL but would format it like this;
{{npcbox
| faction = Horde
| name = Georgio the Destroyer
| image = Halis Dawnstrider.jpg
|}

So make sure to upload images you want to use here

Adding images in other places go to Help:Editing#Images and an examples;

Adding [[Image:Halis Dawnstrider.jpg]] would give you;

Halis Dawnstrider.jpg Wren (talk) 10:43, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
