Flash pod

Flash pods are a tinker invention inspired by the lights used in the night elf village of Nighthaven. Inside a flash pod's wooden shell is a small charge of gunpowder and two compartments containing the secretions of phosphorescent insects of Ashenvale Forest.

After the quick-burning fuse of a flash pod has been lit, the gunpowder detonates. The explosion both deals damage to anyone within 5 feet, and allows the secretions inside to combine, and ignites them in a blinding flash.
